This is part 5 of the 50 state blanket. Part 5 consists of the states of Kansas to Maryland. Maryland was one of the states that I was worried wouldn’t really look like the state, but you can really see the details in the pattern. Kentucky is one of my favorite color combinations.
This is part 4 of the 50 state blanket. Part 4 contains the instructions for the states of Hawaii to Iowa. I love my Hawaii block because I made an inverted sunset. The background was different shades of orange while the Hawaii islands were ocean blue. I also was a huge fan of how the state of Idaho turned out.

Summer is the perfect time to pull out all of your red, white, and blue decorations since there are so many American holidays like Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Independence Day. Two of these holidays are known for being popular days for cookouts and BBQs.
