It’s Wednesday night, which means it is wine and craft night! Tonight I am drinking Bartenura Moscato while working on a baby blanket for my Etsy shop. I am using the leftover yarn from my cousin’s baby blanket to make this blanket. I am using the same pattern that I used in the past to make my mom a baby blanket for one of her friend’s daughter’s baby shower.

Bartenura Moscato is a sweet wine from Italy. I am wanting to use wine corks for a project for the wedding, so I have been trying different wines that have a cork to add to my collection. I picked up a bottle at my local Walmart when I dropped by after work today to get new king-size pillows and some other necessities. In the past, I have seen this particular wine at my local grocery store in the past. According to what I read online, you can also find it at Target. If you are not wanting to go to the store, you can buy a bottle from Wine.com.

This wine is very refreshing. I love the bubbles. It makes me feel fancy even though I’m just watching Hulu and drinking wine in my sweatpants. I taste melon and tangerine flavors. I am also thinking that this wine would be great in the summertime. It would be perfect to drink this wine on the front porch reading a book. Or you could take it over to a friend’s house for girls night. I also think this would be a good wine to drink with a dessert.

Wine Review – Middle Sister Moscato

Middle Sister Moscato Wine Review

One of my favorite grocery store wine finds recently was the Middle Sister Moscato.  I had a rough week at work and my boyfriend was out of town for the weekend, so I went to the grocery store to buy a bottle of wine and food to eat so I wouldn’t have to leave the house all weekend.

As I was wondering the wine aisle, this particular bottle stood out to me. I was initially drawn to the purple metal capsule, but then I noticed the sassy looking stick figure and the name of the wine. After seeing this stick figure and that the wine was called Sweet and Sassy, I thought this is a wine I have to try!

This wine is a sweeter wine, but not too sweet. You can drink it with dessert or while crafting and watching Netflix.  It is one of my go-to Moscatos.  I think it is the perfect amount of sweet.  I can taste peach and slight pears. It smells very floral in addition to the fruit taste.  I have enjoyed this wine with a cookie and also cheese and crackers.  It is also good with spicy foods. I have had it while eating Chipotle take out and it was pretty tasty.

If you would like to try the Middle Sister Moscato, check out https://www.middlesisterwines.com/find-wines to find stores that carry it near you.  You can also purchase a bottle at Wine.com if you wanted to order from the comfort of your own home.

Wine Review – California Roots Moscato

Target Moscato

This month’s wine review is for a Moscato.  I like Moscato wines because they are sweeter and are very tasty as you watch a movie on Netflix.  This month’s wine suggestion with the CraftEaze crochet subscription box is the California Roots Moscato.

The California Roots is a wine brand that is found only at Target.  I have spent a lot of time and money at Target. It has only gotten worse since they added the Hearth and Hand product line. I love watching Fixer Upper and its so much fun going through the Hearth and Hand section.  Joanna Gaines style matches mine pretty well.  I have also been on this organization kick the last few months, so I have been going to Target to find things to help with organizing my house.  I really like their wooden cube storage units with the fabric boxes. It’s an easy way to add a splash of color to my home office.

What is nice about the California Roots wine is that it is only about $5.  The California Roots Moscato has a fruity aroma. I taste peaches and melons as I sip this wine.  I most recently enjoyed this wine after cleaning my living room while binge watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix. The bottle has a bear on it, what more can you ask for!

So next time that you are wondering around Target, and let’s be honest that will probably be in the next week or so, pick up a bottle.

Winking Owl Moscato – Wine Review

Aldi wine

Here at CraftEaze, we love crafts, Netflix, and wine. So each month our projects contain a wine and Netflix suggestion. Winking Owl Moscato was the May crochet pattern suggestion. You can find Winking Owl Moscato at Aldi. I love shopping at Aldi because they have some unique products and also have some good deals on essential food items like eggs. I remember growing up my mom would buy the pizza kits from Aldi and my sister and I would get to make our very own pizza.

The Winking Owl Moscato is a sweet white wine. The wine has a slight peach flavor. It pairs well with spicy food, cheeses, desserts, or a quiet evening watching Netflix.  This is one of my favorite wines. This is my go-to wine to drink while binge watching Netflix and working on a craft project.  Recently, I had a glass of this wine while working on a baby blanket for a friend.
