When I was on maternity leave, I would occasionally go to Joann or Michaels and walk around when my husband was home just to get out of the house for a little bit. On one of these trips, there was a discount on yarn at Joann. Because of the discount, I decided to pick up a cake of Lion Brand Cover Story yarn. I have seen this yarn several times in the past and thought it might be a good yarn to try while I was on leave.
I really like to try new yarns I stumble upon. Earlier this spring I stumbled upon the Bernat Blanket Color Pooling yarn. Of course, I had to try it. I ended up getting 4 balls of the yarn in the buffalo plaid color.
One yarn that I like to use to make fast projects is Red Heart Unforgettable Yarn. This yarn has a weight of Medium (4). It is an acrylic yarn, but instead of being itchy, it is very soft.
One yarn that caught my eye recently was the Bernat Velvet yarn. I used it to make a two different projects, a Christmas stocking and scrunchies.
