During our trip to Colorado, my family visited Mesa Verde National Park. This park stood out because it felt more like a historical site compared to the other national parks we visited. Mesa Verde means “green table” in Spanish, which is a very fitting description. The park sits on a plateau covered in vegetation—hence the name.
