This is part 7 of the 50 state blanket. Only 20 more states to go!
The previous parts can be found below:

- Part 2 – Alabama to California
- Part 3 – Colorado to Georgia
- Part 4 – Hawaii to Iowa
- Part 5 – Kansas to Maryland
- Part 6 – Massachusetts to Missouri
This is part 7 of the 50 state blanket. Part 7 consists of the states of Montana to New Jersey. The group contained some of the bigger states widthwise. Montana and Nebraska both went almost all the way across the block!
So remember if you are making the 50 states blanket, you will see an H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook and weight 4 yarn. I loved that I ate up some yarn in my yarn stash for this project. If you are impatient and want all of the charts now, you can find the complete pattern in our Etsy shop (which is a pdf and can easily be printed) or in the CraftEaze – The American Experience in Throw Pillows book on Amazon.
Instructions for chart

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, 40 sc. You will begin at the arrow.
Rows 2-40: Following the chart (on the next page) work sc in each sc.
Fasten off.

I hope you enjoyed making these 5 states of the 50 state blanket.
