If you have been reading the CraftEaze blog for a while, you probably have noticed I have a soft spot for Netflix movies. Earlier this summer Netflix came out with a new movie that I thought was great. This movie was “Always Be My Maybe”. You can check out the trailer below.

This story tells the story of two childhood friends Sasha and Marcus. Growing up, Sasha spent a lot of time with Marcus and his family. His mom even taught her how to cook. Tragedy stricks Marcus’s family when they are in high school. After this tragedy, Marcus and Sasha grow apart.

Flash forward a few years, Sasha is a famous chef who is about to open a new restaurant in her hometown of San Fransico. When she moves back she runs into Marcus. He is not as successful and is working in his family’s HVAC business. They start talking and she ends up going to Marcus’s band show. At this show, she meets his girlfriend who is kinda eccentric.

Around the same time, Sasha breaks up by her famous boyfriend who was in India over the phone at a child’s birthday party. She meets Keanu Reeves at a party and they start dating. Sasha and Marcus decide they should go on a double date together, which doesn’t go very well. After this date, Sasha and Marcus start dating. However, their relationship has many problems since their lifestyles are completely different.

Will they work out their differences? You will have to check out “Always Be My Maybe” to find out.

Fun fact, for all you “Office” fans out there, the actor who plays Marcus (Randall Park) was in one episode. He was Jim and Pam’s actor friend who helped them prank Dwight. This is one of my favorite Jim and Pam pranks. Unfortunately “The Office” will be leaving Netflix in the next couple of years to move to the new NBC platform. If you are concerned about how you will be able to watch “The Office”, you may want to check out this box set that is the complete series on Amazon.

Have you watched “Always Be My Maybe” yet? If so, tell us what you think in the comments.
