First, it has been beautiful\u00a0outside this week, and this weekend is also suppose to be beautiful. Secondly, I&#8217;m actually off work all weekend long! I have worked the last couple of weekends, so I&#8217;m pretty excited for the chance to sleep in a little.\u00a0\u00a0Finally, it&#8217;s Memorial Day weekend! Memorial Day weekend is the best because\u00a0it&#8217;s a 3 day weekend and also the unofficial start of summer.\u00a0 It is finally\u00a0time to spend time on the deck or by the pool with a nice cold drink and a good book.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite summertime drinks is the cherry limeade.\u00a0 When I was high school my mom figured out how to make a Sonic cherry limeade lookalike, and we would make them in the afternoon after working in the yard.\u00a0 The other day\u00a0when I was on Pinterest, I saw some wine slushie recipes and thought it would be cool to try to make a cherry limeade wine slushie.\u00a0 I looked and couldn&#8217;t really find a recipe\u00a0for one, so I came up with this recipe.\u00a0 I used the Barefoot Moscato when I made this recipe because it was like $6. You can use any Moscato wine for this recipe.\u00a0 This recipe is easy to make and the result is pretty tasty.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ingredients\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 bottle of Moscato (I used Barefoot Moscato)<\/li>\n<li>1 can of frozen limeade<\/li>\n<li>A little cherry grenadine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Pour the can of frozen limeade into the blender along with the bottle\n<figure id=\"attachment_54\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-54 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_0515.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-54\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The drink is colorful and looks tasty!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>of\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Moscato.\u00a0 If you would like a drink that is closer to a slushie, then you can add ice to the blender. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">B<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">lend the frozen limeade and the wine using the slushie button.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>After the frozen limeade and the wine are blended together, pour a little of the cherry grenadine in the blender.<\/li>\n<li>Blend the drink for a 2 or 3 short pulses.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the drink into your glass of choice and enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m definitely looking forward to this weekend.
