Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the United States, established all the way back in 1872. My husband and I visited a few years ago, and it was an unforgettable trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We spent a full day driving through the park searching for wildlife. Along the way, we saw elk, bison, a black bear with her cubs, and even a wolf. We also hiked to see incredible geothermal features, including Grand Prismatic Spring from the overlook, as well as hot springs, mud volcanoes, and geysers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my favorite activities was a bike ride from Old Faithful Inn to Morning Glory Pool. As we rode, we watched Old Faithful erupt in the distance. We continued on to Lone Star Geyser, which was a hidden gem. There was even a notebook where visitors recorded eruption times for the next person. Since it\u2019s a few miles from the road, there weren\u2019t many people there\u2014and the eruption was incredible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was designing this block, I knew I had to include a geyser, Grand Prismatic Spring, and the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
