Are you wanting to make a temperature crochet project, but are overwhelmed by the size and time commitment of a blanket? I made a temperature blanket in 2021 (it was a corner to corner blanket, you can find the pattern here<\/a>) but didn’t want to make another huge blanket since it was a large time commitment and took up too much of my couch. So I was looking for a new idea that was a little bit more manageable. That is when I decided a jellyfish would be perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A jellyfish is prefect because I could do a tentacle for each month. I used the first year of my son\u2019s life to develop the pattern (birth to 1st birthday), but you can do January 1st to December 31st. I am located in Northeast Ohio so I used this temperature range for the colors. Feel free to modify the colors or temperature ranges to reflect your location or preferred color palette. I used the Loop & Thread Soft Classic Solid Yarn for my jellyfish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
