That is because you can try different stitches without committing to a large project. You can also see the results very quickly since they are small projects. Finally, you can never have enough pot holders and scrubbies. I mean I&#8217;m always looking for more pot holders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this project, we will make 2 scrubbies and 2 pot holders. Each scrubby and pot holder will use a different stitch. The stitches used for this project include chain (ch), double crochet (dc), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc). In 2018, I made a blog post that covered crochet basics, including YouTube videos of several different stitches including the ones used in this project. You can check it out <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrafteaze.com\/blog\/2018\/07\/24\/so-i-have-just-started-to-crochet-now-what\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project will use the following materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/prf.hn\/l\/XZjXxMn\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow\">1 ball of Red Heart Scrubby Yarn (the pictures are of the sparkly yarn)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/prf.hn\/l\/Pl4gvel\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow\">1 ball of Lily Sugar&#8217;n Cream Yarn<\/a> (or any cotton yarn will work, but it needs to be cotton yarn)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/prf.hn\/l\/kVqnE13\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow\">H-8 US (5.0 mm) Crochet Hook<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to purchase a kit with all the required materials and the printed pattern from <a href=\"https:\/\/tidd.ly\/3ZC7rzn\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow\">Etsy<\/a>.
